Hot Chocolate, Dada, and Cows that Go "Meh"

It's fun to watch Angelo's ever increasing vocabulary. Here's what he's got so far:

Ada (or Amta) = Amharic for "give it"
Samin = kiss
Negn ("nay") = come

Dada
Mama
Up (comes out "ut")
Down (comes out "Duh") these two phrases are oft repeated since he is fascinated (read: borderline obsessed) with helium balloons.

Yay

...and the newest vocabulary addition: HOT

I made some herbal tea for him midday and was telling him it was hot. Here's the conversation that ensued:

Later, he practiced the word when we had some hot chocolate...

Angelo also loves the "finger wiggle book" titled "Play Puppy Play" where he can wiggle his fingers in the little slots of the board book and make the animal sounds. (Thanks Aunt Molly!) I am learning new ones from him. My favorite so far is the cow that says " Meh."
